Affirmative Tú Commands
  • ● Regular tú commands are conjugated to the él / ella form (present tense)
  • ● Attach direct object pronouns to the command
  • ● Add an accent if the command with pronoun is more than two syllables

Know how to use Direct Object Pronouns and where to place them in different grammar contexts
● 1 Conjugated Verb (place before the verb)
● 1 Conjugated Verb + Infinitive (Before Conjugated verb or attached to the infinitive)
● Attach to affirmative tú command

PAST TENSE: Regular preterite - AR, ER, IR endings
● Know the endings of regular preterite
● It is easier to know the irregular verbs than memorize the regular preterite list - students will receive a reference supplement for preterite.

PAST TENSE: Preterite verbs ending in CAR, GAR, ZAR
● Any verb ending in CAR, GAR, and ZAR has a spelling change in the Yo form of the preterite

PAST TENSE: Irregular preterite
● Students will only be expected to know the preterite for the verbs; Ir, Ser, and Hacer
